Laparoscopic Ectopic Pregancy Removal
Laparoscopic ectopic pregnancy removal is a surgical procedure that removes a pregnancy that has implanted outside the uterus. The procedure involves the use of a laparoscope, a thin fiber-optic cable with a camera at the end, to view the fallopian tubes and ovaries During the procedure, the surgeon makes small incisions in the abdomen and inserts surgical tools to remove the ectopic pregnancy. Laparoscopic ectopic pregnancy removal is a minimally invasive procedure that has a shorter recovery time than traditional open surgery. The procedure is usually done under general anesthesia and is considered safe and effective for treating ectopic pregnancies.
