Laparoscopic Adhesiolysis
Laparoscopic adhesiolysis is a surgical procedure that removes adhesions in the body. Adhesions are bands of scar tissue that can develop in the body as a result of surgeries, infections, radiations, or conditions such as endometriosis . The procedure involves the use of a laparoscope, a thin fiber-optic cable with a camera at the end, to visualize and remove adhesions. Laparoscopic adhesiolysis is a minimally invasive procedure that has a shorter recovery time than traditional open surgery. The procedure can be used to regain the normal anatomy and functionality of an organ and reduce pain induced by adhesions.
