Surrogacy is a medical procedure that involves a woman carrying and delivering a baby for another couple or person. It is often used when pregnancy is medically impossible, or when pregnancy risks are dangerous for the mother. In surrogacy, an embryo created by in vitro fertilization (IVF) technology or ICSI  is implanted in  the surrogate.
