Sperm Freezing
Sperm freezing, also known as sperm banking or cryopreservation, is a medical procedure that involves collecting and freezing sperm for future use. The process of sperm freezing includes the use of a special media to freeze the sperm and then storing it in liquid nitrogen at minus 196C. Sperm freezing can be used to preserve fertility in men who are about to undergo certain medical procedures or treatments, such as chemotherapy or radiation therapy for cancer. It can also be used by men who have hazardous jobs or are employed abroad Additionally, sperm freezing can be used by couples who are not ready to have a baby yet but know they want to one day or for those who don’t have biological partner yet.
